EdgeVision: Project Meeting and Strategy Workshop

Last week, all partners of the RUBIN EdgeVision consortium gathered in Dresden for a project meeting and strategy workshop.

During the meeting, each project partner provided an update on the progress of their work and showcased their latest demonstrators. The consortium highlighted the strong progress being made in the development of energy-efficient AI technologies and key components for future industrial applications.

Among the highlights were the demonstrators presented by Racyics and ULT AG, which showcased how AI applications can run directly on edge hardware while processing sensor data in real time, key building blocks for high-performance, secure AI solutions.

The workshop also focused on technology developments, market trends, and future opportunities for commercialization and growth. In addition, participants explored the potential of Edge AI for industrial applications and discussed the importance of establishing a strong European value chain for intelligent electronics and AI systems.
