Our project partner, ULT AG, presented the Edge-Vision project at MSV 2024 in Brno, Czech Republic. The international MSV machinery trade fair is one of the most important industrial events in Central Europe, attracting over 1,600 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors annually.
The fair covers all key areas of mechanical and electrical engineering, with a special focus on machining and forming as well as the latest developments in Industry 4.0 and Digital Factory.
These central trends in production digitalization are a perfect fit for our Edge-Vision project.
Why Edge-Vision?
Edge-Vision is an innovative research project that leverages Edge Computing and AI-driven image processing to enable decentralized, energy-efficient data processing directly at the source. This not only makes production processes more efficient and sustainable but also opens up new possibilities for real-time analysis in dynamic manufacturing environments.
🎯 Our Goal: With Edge-Vision, we aim to establish an internationally leading and trendsetting network in edge computing and vision technology. To achieve this, we are developing a high-performance and energy-efficient Edge-AI platform in East Saxony that will drive efficiency in production and help shape the future of industry.
